What will your Physiotherapist do?
Your Physiotherapist at Advanced Allied Care will conduct a thorough assessment and develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals.
In order to reach your goals, after your initial assessment, your Physiotherapist may provide:
Individualised exercise and rehabilitation program
Assessment of mobility, gait and balance
Prescription of required mobility aids
Falls risk assessments and prevention strategies
Assistive technology prescription, trials and reporting for approval by the NDIA or relevant funding bodies
Recommendations for the purchase of relevant low risk/low cost equipment
Review of transfers and transfer training
Development of manual handling plans and manual handling training
Hydrotherapy and hydrotherapy programs
Strength and range of motion assessments
Cardiorespiratory assessment and strategies to assist with optimising lung function, including breathing exercises and secretion clearance techniques
Soft tissue and manual therapy
Assessment and diagnosis of acute and chronic injuries
Relevant reporting and recommendations to the NDIA or relevant funding bodies regarding ongoing funding requirements
